I hope this message finds you well! This is Xavier Kelly, reaching out to share some fantastic updates and improvements we’ve made to Rent More Pro in version 1.5.

Last week, I had some enlightening conversations with Grovert from Event Rental Guys, Brian from Elite Party Rentals, Jeffery Jackson from The Party Redux, and many others. Grovert’s insights were particularly interesting, especially regarding his Squarespace site. He highlighted how visual assets, like tent layouts and event types, helped his customers better visualize their events, leading to increased sales. We're excited to announce that these features will be coming to Rent More Pro soon!

Your Sales and Follow-Up Process

I’m curious—what does your current sales and follow-up process look like in your rental business? I’ve been thinking about how we can better categorize and relate different types of content, like products to reviews and FAQs to bundles. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this.

This Week's Development Focus

This week, we focused on fixing bugs and enhancing our marketing and design tools to help you attract and retain more clients. Here are some of the highlights:

New Features:

• Marketing | Design Center: Easily set up site-wide banners. Customize the background color, font color, button placement, button background color, button font color, and padding.
• Marketing | Trusted By: Showcase a list of companies that have used your services. You can also design this section to your liking.
• Marketing | SEO Dashboards: Manage all your pages’ meta data in one place to boost your SEO.
• Reports | Sales Tax Reports: View your sales tax amounts for any given time frame.

Improvements:

• Marketing | Design: Added options to show/hide location labels in the navigation header and customize the quote form length.
• Orders | Orders: Added a reserve order tab to the orders dashboard and improved same-day drop-down functionality.
• Settings | Account Setting: New toggles for “last day to reserve” and “balance due by day reminder” messages, plus additional decimal places for sales tax.

Bug Fixes:

• Fixed database creation for locations and settings page.
• Resolved navigation issues on the individual gallery pages.
• Fixed mobile site issues on the career and job pages.
• Corrected payment submission problems when items were unavailable.
• Addressed 500 error on metadata updates.

We now have 18 support videos on our YouTube channel, including new tutorials on integrating Stripe and Square, blocking dates, setting up zip codes, and adding media to your gallery/inventory. Check them out here.

Software Tip of the Week

During your slow season, consider discounting your rates to encourage more bookings and increase cash flow. Use the top banner and coupon code section to automatically apply discounts to customers’ carts with a link like this: /?promotioncode=[couponCodeHere]#Quote.

Mobile App Update

We’re still in the planning stages for the mobile app and are defining the specs based on your feedback. We’ll decide on the platform to build on this week.
